Anti-Notch receptor 4 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene NOTCH4 in humans. The gene may also be known as Notch 4, INT3, neurogenic locus notch homolog protein 4, and Notch homolog 4. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 209.6 kilodaltons in mass. The NOTCH4 marker can be used to identify Aerocyte Capillary (aCap) Cells, Cap1 General Capillary (cGap) Cells, Respiratory Vein Endothelial Cells, Pulmonary Artery Endothelial Cells, and Artery Endothelial Cells.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
