Anti-FYB antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target FYB is a known alias name of the protein FYN binding protein 1, encoded by the FYB1 gene in humans. This 783-amino acid residue protein is known to act as a adapter protein of the FYN and LCP2 signaling cascades in T-cells (By similarity). It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in hematopoietic tissues such as myeloid and T-cells, spleen and thymus. Other synonyms for FYB include ADAP and PRO0823.
