Anti-LGR1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the LGR1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the FSHR gene, which encodes follicle stimulating hormone receptor. This protein is known to function in GPCR signaling pathways and male gonad development, among other biological roles. The human version of LGR1 has a canonical amino acid length of 695 residues and a protein mass of 78.3 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells. Other names for this target antigen include FSHR1 and FSHRO. Some LGR1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for these antibodies.
