Anti-ARP5 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ARP5 is a known alias name of the protein apolipoprotein B mRNA editing enzyme catalytic subunit 3C, encoded by the APOBEC3C gene in humans. This 190-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in innate immune responses, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in spleen, testes, peripherical blood lymphocytes, heart, thymus, prostate and ovary. Western Blot is a widely used application for the ARP5 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
