Anti-SLC35F5 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein solute carrier family 35 member F5. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 523 amino acid residues and a mass of 58.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in colorectal cancer cells. A member of the SLC35F solute transporter protein family, SLC35F5 is believed to be a type of solute transporter. Synonyms for this target antigen include HCV NS5A-transactivated protein 3 and hepatitis C virus NS5A-transactivated protein 3. SLC35F5 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some SLC35F5 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
