Anti-DNAJC4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein DnaJ heat shock protein family (Hsp40) member C4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 241 amino acid residues and a mass of 27.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. DNAJC4 is known to be involved with protein folding. Synonyms for this target antigen include HSPF2, MCG18, dnaJ homolog subfamily C member 4, DnaJ (Hsp40) homolog, subfamily C, member 4, and DANJC4. DNAJC4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for DNAJC4 antibodies.
