Anti-Par6a antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Par6a is a known alias name of the protein par-6 family cell polarity regulator alpha, encoded by the PARD6A gene in humans. This 346-amino acid residue protein is known to be an adapter protein involved in asymmetrical cell division and cell polarization processes. It is localized to the cell membrane and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the pancreas, skeletal muscle, brain and heart. Other synonyms for Par6a include PAR6 and PAR6C. Indicated applications for Par6a antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
