One of the biggest concerns in tackling reproducibility issues is that there is no consensus in terms of what constitutes reproducibility. In this video we talk to researchers to learn what is being done in their labs to
improve reproducibility, what’s being done by the manufacturers to decrease lot-to-lot variation, what’s being
demanded by journals and funding agencies to ensure that certain standards are adhered to, and finally what role
organizations and societies are playing to disseminate information and increase awareness of the problem.
The documentary highlights the concerns raised by key stakeholders to understand if this recent
awareness in reproducibility is truly a crisis or an opportunity to lay down some guidelines that will strengthen our faith in scientific data and outcomes going forward.

"The documentary about antibody validation produced by Biocompare provides an accurate summary of the current issues faced by antibody manufacturers and users. I have passed it to all of my colleagues in the industry so they can simply understand what the current status is."
-Tim Bernard, CEO, Pivotal Scientific
-
"I was delighted to lend my voice to the diverse perspectives in this documentary. The challenges of reproducibility can only be tackled with an open conversation between all stakeholders. Researchers, journals, funding agencies, research institutions, vendors – we all have a role to play."
-Veronique Kiermer, Executive Editor, PLOS
