This buffer was used for cell cycle staining for oesophageal adenocarcinoma cell lines. As opposed to other PI stains that need overnight staining, this worked well in under 30 minutes at RT, reducing experimental time.

Compared to other products, this is very convenient and allows one step staining of cells where you can also directly run in this buffer on FACS without washing step. Combined with the staining time, it is good for high throughput cell cycle analyses even in small cell numbers.
