The major focus of our research is to determine the significance of tubuloglomerular feedback (TGF) responsiveness in physiological and pathological conditions such as acute and chronic kidney injury. Our lab studies acute and chronic kidney disorders in rodents. Our areas of interest include electron microscopy and immunohistochemistry. We use these disposable plastic cryomolds a uniformly shaped flat surface specimen block with tissue freezing medium for frozen sectioning.
