RNA extraction is a routine practice in my lab since we work with viruses. This kit is used on a daily basis and gives great results. RNA extraction of 1 mL supernatant usually yields around 150-200 ng/uL.
RNA Purification
The picture corresponds to the RNA concentration of a sample I extracted using this kit. This RNA corresponds to 1 mL of supernatant from BHK21 cells infected with Dengue virus 2 for 6 days.
This kit is used daily in my lab. If I have few samples, I use this kit and it always gives great results.
