This pipette was a great addition to our lab equipment. I wanted to evaluate the growth kinetics of several drug-resistant Dengue viruses by qRT-PCR, and I needed to use a 384-well plate to fit all samples in one single plate. We use an automated RNA extraction protocol that allows us to process our samples in 96-well plates. So to transfer RNA into the PCR reactions, I used this adjustable pipette, which was real-time. Using regular multichannel pipettes it is possible to make this transfer but the space in between wells makes it impossible to use all wells of a 384-well plate. So this pipette was great for this purpose.

Overall, I would definitely recommend buying this pipette if you work a lot with molecular biology because it can save you time and minimize pipetting errors. It is on the pricey side but, I consider a good investment.
