Product Name:

ViaFect™ Transfection Reagent

Catalog Number:

E4981

I used ViaFect as my transfection reagent for HEK293T to generate lentivirus. I had a very smooth experience with using ViaFect and achieved high-quality lentivirus generation. The added convenience of not needing to remove ViaFect following transfection was a plus, and I would use ViaFect for further transfections in other cell lines.

The Bottom Line

If you are curious about using the reagent, Promega is always great with providing a sample for you to test. However, I would say that ViaFect is an excellent transfection reagent that would likely work for a variety of cell lines without major optimization.
