This kit is designed specifically for adipose tissue RNA isolation. In my case, I used this kit to help isolate RNAs from mouse mesenteric fat tissues. This kit contains Qiazol reagents and columns and has a very easy protocol to follow. I obtained high-quality RNA samples the first time I used it.

(i) Cut the samples as small chunk in Qiazol and (ii) keep the sample on ice and cool between tissue lyzer cycles.
I got RNA samples and run them on agarose gels and then checked the RNA integrity using tapestation. RIN were >8 for all samples obtained.
