I have used this Alexa Fluor™ 555 Phalloidin in one of studies to compare cell morphology change after treatment with my drug. I stained the cell with Alexa Fluor™ 555 Phalloidin and did confocal to check the cell morphology.

Add 1% BSA to reduce nonspecific background staining.
The cells were fixed by formaldehyde and permeabilize by 0.1% Triton™ X-100. The phalloidin staining was successful. We clear see the cell morphology under confocal microscopy.
