We used this kit to monitor mitochondrial function by directly measuring the oxygen consumption rate (OCR) of cells on the Seahorse XFe96 and XFe24 Extracellular Flux Analyzers. We tested on several different types of live cells, and we were able to monitor OCR in real time.
