I use this antibody to detect my live vs dead lymphocytes when I do FACS analysis. In this particular experiment, I used it on ex-vivo C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes. The cells were stained with Zombie Red™ for 30 min and then analyzed using flow cytometry.
Flow Cytometry
Mouse Splenocytes
Incubated 30min at 4°C in blocking reagent (1:800 dilution)
2.5% heat-inactivated Fetal bovine serum; 1mM EDTA, azide in PBS
FACS LSRII (Becton Dickinson), DiVa analysis software
The results pictured show how effective the antibody is in getting a clear separation of live vs dead splenic lymphocytes. I was able to clearly identify my live cells.
It is very effective and requires the use of very minimal antibody.

I like that I can use a very diluted amount of this antibody, and it will still show clear results.
