Mix & Go! E.coli Transformation Kit

Very good alternative to generate homemade, chemically competent E. Coli stocks. We switch to this product from home brewed protocols base on CaCl after we noticed this kit is used routinely by other labs and companies specialised in bacteria and plasmid generation. The yield of colonies is not as efficient as the commercial bacteria, but it is largely enough for routine transformations.

Tips

One kit is sufficient for more applications than preconized in the datasheet. Easy to scale down. The final efficiency may be variable according to the manipulation of the bacteria during the procedure.
