I used this ELISA kit to compare IL-18 levels secreted from ovarian cancer cell lines (A2780, A2780-AD) (using cell culture supernatants) upon treatment with estrogen and nigericin.

Results Summary

I compared IL-18 levels in cell culture supernatants collected from ovarian cancer cell lines seeded in 96-wells and treated with nigericin (pyroptosis inducer) and different concentrations of estrogen. At the end of the protocol, comparable results with enough sensitivity were obtained.
