Info: Supplier Page

My research involves the use of bioengineered bone scaffolds to co-culture cells of the native bone niche like osteoblasts and osteoclasts. I use these models to monitor the pathways that mediate cancer cell (i.e. lines like MDA MB231) metastasis to bone. I found this array very useful, easy to set up and analyze, and affordable for studying the bone response to this process. All you need are either supernatants or tissue/cell lysates, load them up on the array, perform a series of incubations and washes, and send them out to the company for complementary scanning and analysis.

Summary

The Good

Reliable, easy to set up and use, lots of data generated, affordable

The Bad

Lots of wash steps, need to be careful not to scratch the glass slide array

The Bottom Line

Affordable, reliable, and easy to use to generate lots of proteomic data, will continue to buy.
