In the past 3 years, in Michael Young Laboratory at Schepens Eye Research Institute (Harvard Medical School), we have been using the Tyto as a cell sorter for cone and rod photoreceptor. Thanks to this amazing new technology we have been able to isolate a highly viable and pure population of cone photoreceptor which show high integration and cell replacement in various animal models. We are on the path of filing IND with the FDA in the next year.
