Aim of the study was to test the effect of a specific treatment on growth factor-induced xanthine oxidase expression in human retinal cells. Protein extracts from control or cells treated with or without growth factor were resolved in 10%SDS-PAGE, immunoblotted and probed with xanthine oxidase antibody. The antibody was selected because antibody flyer has shown a nice, clean and bright band of xanthine oxidase.
