Company:

Thermo Fisher Scientific

Product Name:

Invitrogen Qubit™ 4 Fluorometer

Catalog Number:

Q33238

Quantification of DNA samples by Nanodrop spectrophotometer often results in over estimation of the nucleic acids present in the sample. I used Thermo Fisher Scientific's Qubit 4 Fluorometer for quantification of genomic DNA in my sample. It gave estimation of the genomic DNA since it measures specific DNA based on the fluorescence. The libraries prepared based on the Qubit quantification gave expected cluster generation for sequencing.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Application

Quantification of genomic DNA samples for preparation of NGS libraries

Tips

Thaw Qubit assay reagent at room temperature for 20 minutes.
