Product Name:

Protein A-Sepharose® CL-4B

Catalog Number:

17-0780-01

I used GE Healthcare's Protein A Sepharose CL-4B beads for purification and fractionation of recombinant IgG expressed in CHO cell lines. Yield after purification was very good with 15 mg/mL of CHO cell culture. Further purified IgG was used in ELISA assays and gave satisfactory results.

Results Summary

Using Protein A Sepharose CL-4B beads, nearly 15 to 20 mg of IgG/ mL of CHO cell culture was purified. Further purified IgG was able to antigen and used down stream applications such as ELISAs.
