Blood was collected from mouse in EDTA-coated vaccutainers. Blood is centrifuged to separate the plasma from RBC pellet. The concentration of Prothrobin in plasma was measured by using Mouse Prothrombin/Thrombin Total ELISA Kit and following manufacturer’s instructions.

The signal was observed at 450 nm and the amount of color is directly proportional to the concentration of prothrombin in plasma. The concentration of prothrombin was calculated from the standard curve. The ELISA kit is specific and sensitive.
