Blood from mouse was collected in tubes and then centrifuged. Mouse serum was collected as supernatant and was analysed for the presence of Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein-1 (MCP-1). The assay was performed according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The ELISA kit is based on sandwich ELISA and the absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
