HEK293A cells were cultured in DMEM complete media containing fetal bovine serum and Gentamicin/amphotericin B in the presence of sterisporin. The cells were incubated at 37°C, 5% CO2, 95% RH. After two days of treatment, the cells were trypsinized and collected in a falcon tube. Thereafter, the cells were centrifuged at 1000X for 5 minutes and the cell pellet was collected. The cells were treated according to the manufacturer’s instructions for the detection of apoptosis.
