The Good
Good design, convenient to set the rpm and time
The Bad
Makes noise as it gets older
The Bottom Line
My lab has several of this model, and some of them started making weird sounds even when samples are spun at low rpm. The repair service costs more than the price of the centrifuge itself, so my labmates are using it without fixing. Therefore, I try not to use the maximum speed for safety. Other than this, I like this centrifuge more than the Eppendorf one which has a spinning knob to set the speed and time.
