Company:

Thermo Fisher Scientific

Product Name:

TCR alpha/beta Monoclonal Antibody (IP26), PE

Catalog Number:

12-9986-41

Clone Number:

IP26

Our research requires the identification of T cell receptor (TCR) and the ability to identify those T cells that express the alpha-beta receptor vs. the gamma/delta. We needed a good antibody that gives unambiguous results, and we think this one is it.

Results Summary

The results were impressive! Even at very low dilution (~0.3uL per test), we saw a good signal; however, we opted for 1.25uL per test which gave us optima resolution of TCRa/b positive cells from the negative populations (g/d T cells, B and NK lymphocytes). The titration plot shown is gated on lymphocytes.

Summary

The Good

Strong, clean signal

The Bad

Nothing

The Bottom Line

The antibody was easy to use, easy to titrate and gave us a good signal-to-noise ratio.
