I have a His-tag on human and mouse proteins and this antibody worked well at various dilutions of antibody as well as supernatants.

Samples were incubated at 37C for 1 hour
Anti-histag HRP was incubated for 1 hour at room temperature
TMB substrate was used to develop colour, stopped with 2N H2SO4/ 2N HCL. Read at A450nm
Dose response was obtained after incubating the anti-histag antibody at dilutions 1:500, 1:1000, 1:2500, and 1:5000. From this I have been using 1:5000 dilution for the rest of my experiments.
