BV2 cells were seeded onto 12-well plates. After serum-starvation overnight, cells were incubated with LPA in the absence or presence of the inhibitors (TCLPA5 or CRT) for the indicated time periods. For each time point, the supernatants were collected and kept at -70 °C until further use. CATH.a neurons were seeded in a 96-well plate and allowed to adhere. Following overnight serum-starvation, the cells were incubated in the presence of the supernatants collected from the above-mentioned BV-2 cells.
