The Guava Nexin Reagent is a mix-and-read assay for monitoring externalization of phosphatidylserine (PS) through the binding of Annexin V to the exposed PS. I have used this reagent for measuring levels of Annexin V in our control and test samples. Our results was good and showed difference between the group.

The Bottom Line

This is sensitive reagent so standardization may be needed. otherwise see the background in the FACs. Cells should not be clumped. This reagent offers a simple, reproducible, and sensitive assessment of early apoptosis. I recommend for those working to see the apoptosis in live and healthy cells.
