Mouse subjected to a specific treatment was sacrificed, tissues were isolated, and prepared protein extracts were examined to test the effect of the particular treatment on p300 protein levels. For this extracted tissue proteins which were resolved in 7.5%, SDS-PAGE was immunoblotted with Abcam p300 Ab. The selection of p300 Ab from Abcam was based on previous experience and the information provided in the antibody flyer.

Enhanced chemiluminescent detection in X-Ray films
The antibody has detected a specific band of p300 protein at 300 kDa (compared with duel range protein marker) and a non-specific band at nearly 74 kDa. However, there was no or little effect of siRNA on its off-target molecules.
