This pipette controller is easy to use. It's lightweight and pipettes of different sizes fit well. It's easy to change the speed or switch to gravity mode while using the pipettor. Over a period of two years I have seen two of the four accu jet pipettors fail bad enough to need replacement. So I guess that they are not very sturdy or long lasting. The filters were clean for both the failed pipettors so its probably not a usage related problem that caused them to fail.
