In our lab, we regularly need an accurate reading of DNA/RNA concentrations for downstream molecular methods. While we employ additional quantitative methods, we needed an instrument that is accurate at low ranges. This unit is reliable at the low ranges it is advertised for.
Nucleic acid quantification
Generate a blank for your sample and read it in the mode determined by sample type. The reader makes use of 500 µL PCR microtubes. Use the user-friendly arrow keys and display to select the type of nucleic acid you want to quantitate. Read the sample.
Ensure you are clear on the dye to use based on your application. Become familiar with the manual.
We seem to achieve accurate readings at low concentrations.
