As an immunology lab, we routinely need to spin 1.5 mL tubes for pelleting cells. This tabletop centrifuge is a great piece of equipment to help with this process. We also use this equipment to help with procedures that require spinning in the cold since we have a microcentrifuge in the 4°C cold room. We have three centrifuges in the lab with one lasting for 10 years (the cold version).
Centrifuging
Press "open" to open the lid. Place your tubes in the rotor and balance with appropriate sized tubes. Screw the top and close the lid. Set the speed and time. Hit start. Once done spinning, the lid will automatically open. Uncap the top and remove tubes.
Just balance the tubes to avoid damaging the rotors.
Easy to use to adjust the speed and the time.
