Cell Signaling Technology

Product Name:

FoxO1 (C29H4) Rabbit mAb

Catalog Number:

2880

We are interested in studying FoxO1 regulation in macrophages and T cells since this transcription factor (TF) protein is controlled by mTOR signaling. Since this TF controls gene regulation, its stability and presence is a key readout to study FoxO1. We assess FoxO1 levels by immunoblotting. The antibody is robust and is widely used by the scientific community.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Western Blot

Sample

Murine macrophages

Primary Incubation

1:2000 in 4% BSA/TBST

Blocking Agent

5% dry milk/TBST

Secondary Incubation

1:5000 Rabbit IgG HRP in 5% dry milk/TBST

Tertiary Incubation

None

Detection

Invitrogen ECL Pico

Results Summary

We are easily able to detect total FoxO1 levels in our conditions since we do not detect it in the expected condition but it is present in the other condition.
