Company:

Invitrogen (ebioscience)

Product Name:

CD127 Monoclonal Antibody (A7R34), APC

Catalog Number:

17-1271-82

Our lab studies CD8 T cell differentiation into effector and memory cells. During an acute response, surface expression of the IL-7 receptor (CD127) has been shown to identify early memory precursors that become long-lived memory cells. Using this marker and KLRG1, we are able to identify these memory-like cells.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Flow Cytometry

Sample

Murine Splenocytes from infected mouse

Primary Incubation

1:250

Blocking Agent

FC block (10ug/mL)

Secondary Incubation

None

Tertiary Incubation

None

Detection

BD Celesta

Results Summary

We are able to identify a strong single positive population of cells expressing CD127. These cells are interesting since they have the most potential to become memory cells.

Summary

The Good

Stains for CD127 very well. Antibody is not too expensive since APC.

The Bad

Higher dilution is needed.

The Bottom Line

Great robust antibody to stain for CD127 on murine T cells.
