The aim of this experiment was to measure the amount of protein extracted using the Bradford protein assay. The Spectramax2 plate reader was used to detect the absorbance. This plate reader was selected as it was available in house and recommended by colleagues.
Measuring absorbance and fluorescence
Place the plate on the reader and follow the instructions on the software.
Turn on the machine, remove the lid from plate.
