Product Name:

PE/Cy7 anti-human/mouse Bcl-6 Antibody

Catalog Number:

358511

In our study we aimed to characterize Tfh cells from human spleen cells. As one of the marker we have used Bcl6 PE/Cy7 antibody. The better results you will have, less markers are used in the neighbour channels.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Flow Cytometry

Sample

Human spleen cells

Primary Incubation

CD3, CD8, live/dead blue incubated for 45 min at 4C in blocking buffer

Blocking Agent

Human IgG, 20 ug/ml in FACS buffer

Secondary Incubation

Fix/Perm buffer (1:4 ratio) for 1 h at 4C

Tertiary Incubation

Bcl6 antibody in perm buffer in

Detection

LSRFortessa (Becton Dickinson), software FlowJo (version 6)

Results Summary

Proper antibody for the pannel, however due to low expression levels shoud not be confused with the background

Summary

The Good

Highly specific in FACS analysis.

The Bad

Only useful for FACS

The Bottom Line

Good antibody that can be used for Flow Cytometry detection. However due to low expression, requires relatively big amount of antibody per million cells. It also might be difficult to study different levels of expression in different conditions due to the same reason.
