NGS full transcriptome analysis requires rRNA depleted RNA which constitute the maximum percentage of total RNA. This ribominus kit provides us with a perfect solution to enrich the mRNA for full transcriptome analysis by depleting the rRNA through probed magnetic beads. 99.9% depletion of the rRNA can be observed using this kit.
NGS full transcriptome analysis
Total RNA
5 microgram of total RNA was used as the starting material biotin-labeled probes were added which binds to the rRNA. Streptavidin-coated magnetic beads were added which exclusively binds to biotinylated probes thereby removing all the rRNA in the presence of a strong external magnetic field. The supernatant is now free of rRNA which can be purified using the magnetic clean up module.
Always use good quality total RNA. (RIN >7)
