Anti-a-actinin monoclonal antibody from Sigma is the best antibody for marking cardiomyocytes in immunofluorescence staining. It also works very well for Western blotting.

Results Summary

Mouse heart FFPE sections were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton-X100, blocked and probed with anti-a-actinin antibody (1:500) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 conjugated secondary antibody. Sections were counter stained with isolectin-AF647 and Hoechst 33342.
