Western blots are routinely performed in our lab and often require probing with multiple primaries. This often requires us to strip the blots before coming in with additional antibodies. This stripping buffer is easy to use and does not take much time to perform a decent strip.

Our lab performs strips with this buffer as follows:-Seal blot in plastic bag/container and seal -Place in 48*C water bath for 30minutes-Wash blot and reblock
Be sure that blot is completely covered with stripping buffer to ensure even stripping
Blots with no signal from previous primaries and secondaries
