I am studying bacterial pneumonia, and used this antibody to define populations and kinetics of immune infiltration into the lung. Mice were infected with Streptococcus, and this antibody was used in an 8-color myeloid staining panel analyzed on a BD Canto II. Ly6G is used to distinguish neutrophils (PMN) and is a beautiful marker, always gives a very clear population that is very specific to neutrophils. I chose to order from Biolegend because I have had great experiences with their technical and customer service teams in the past (helping to design panels, providing samples or offering refunds if needed, although I’ve never had a problem with a product so I haven’t needed that).

Good staining for Ly6G and detection of neutrophils. Its a really easy antigen to detect, so I've never had a problem with Ly6G staining in any channel. This Ab works well. Samples are unfixed. Cells shown are gated on CD11b+ cells.
Easy detection of neutrophils
I like the Ab / haven't had any problems with this. Would buy again.
