In the present study, Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) was estimated in serum of individuals fed with standard diet supplemented with milk samples of different species like goat, cattle and camel. Milk samples were collected from animals, centrifuged at 3000 rpm at 4 degree Celsius and upper fat layer was discarded. Subjects were allowed to drink 300 ml of defat milk with standard diet taken ad- libitum. After end of treatment blood was collected from individuals and serum was used to estimate TSH using abcam ELISA kit.
Quantification of TSH levels in blood serum

Blood was collected from individuals and allowed to clot. Clot was centrifuged at 275 xg for 10 min. Clear serum was collected in a freah tube and diluted in sterile PBS (1:100). Diluted samples were added in wells of TSH-ELISA plates obtained from abcam and incubated overnight at 4 degree Celsius. Further biotin solution was added and incubated for 1 hr followed by 45 min incubation with streptavidin. Finally, TMB substrate was added and after 45 minutes’ reaction was stopped. Colour production was read in a ELISA reader at 450 nm absorption wavelength against blank.
