We isolate cells from various tissues and sometimes need to grow them in culture or use them for functional assays. This incubator is big enough for our needs and keeps the temperature and CO2 levels very steady.

Cell cultures
Cells are place in appropriate media and stored in the sealed incubator for a couple days or length or project. The incubator must be hooked up to CO2 and the level and temperature pre-set. Also, the water pan must be filled to keep incubator at high humidity.
Check CO2 tank frequently so it doesn't completely empty.
We are able to successfully grow live cell cultures over time.
