Aim of the present study was to detect cleaved transmembrane/intracellular region (NTM) of NOTCH1 proteins in kidney tissues of type-2 diabetic rats. Here, extracted proteins were resolved and immunoblotted with Cell Signaling Technology Notch1 (D1E11) XP® Rabbit monoclonal antibody. Antibody selection was based on previous experience with same antibody in mouse samples.

Overnight at 4 0C (5% skimmed milk in TBS with 0.1% Tween 20; dilution 1:1000)

Blocking Agent

5 % Skimmed milk in TBS with 0.1% Tween 20 (for 1 hr at RT)

Secondary Incubation

1 hr at RT (5% skimmed milk in TBS with 0.1% Tween 20; dilution 1:6000)

Tertiary Incubation

Results Summary

Very good band of cleaved transmembrane/intracellular region (NTM) of NOTCH1 were detected in rat samples. NOTCH1 bands were very bright, clean and no non specific signals were observed.
