Our group studies T cells in the blood of untreated chronic HIV+ individuals. We are constantly expanding and optimizing our T cell panels to measure various T cell subsets, activation, and inhibitory receptor phenotype. Moving CD4 to a Brilliant Violet has given us more flexibility in our panels.

BD CD4-BV605 works great in a multi-color panel. As seen in the included image, 2uL works great to detect CD4+ T cells ex vivo. Additionally, it is sensitive enough to detect shifts in CD4 expression as with potent stimulation as evidenced by the shift in CD4 MFI with SEB stimulation (1ug/mL).
