Experimental Design and Results Summary

Application

Centrifugation

Starting Material

Conical tube with liquid or sample

Protocol Overview

The system has two buttons and two knobs. The buttons are to open the centrifuge and to run a short spin. The knobs control the speed and time. After placing your samples into the centrifuge, configure the centrifuge as needed and close the lid.

Tips

Try not to move the centrifuge too much as it become off balance (screen error).

Results Summary

Most of our applications are simple and can verify the function of the instrument. For example, the concentration of samples yields liquid that is centrifuged to the bottom of the tube while the sample remains in the top. We have never had an issue with this microcentrifuge.

Features Summary

The large size allows for the placement of many samples.
