The aim of this research was to understand protein targeting to the flagellar membrane. The specific goals were to to understand the effect of protein modification and calcium binding in this process. Results Summary

Our protein of interest was tagged with myc tag at the C-terminus. Using c-myc antibody we were able to detect our protein at the expected location. The signal was clean and no signal was detected in the samples not tagged with myc.
